Floating

So, I don't really have anything profound to say right now (or ever really)0 but I kind of wanted to post just to prove that I'm still alive. Anyhoo....

Last night I was able to go and see one of my favorite artists Paul Pfeiffer speak and show some work. He even showed us a new video that I understood hasn't shown yet. It was so rejuvinating to see his work, to think about artwork and to kind of jumpstart my stalling out brain. I had only seen a couple of the videos before, mostly I knew about them through still pictures. I was thrilled to see them "in motion". It was also kind of fun, kind of strange to be back on campus and to see my old proffesors. In one sense the whole evening was exhilerating and in another it was horribly depressing. It can be such a struggle not to succomb to the "why can't I's?" and the comparisons. So, before I write myself into the blues, I'll sign off :)
